He began his career at the University of Kansas Medical Center leaving there after 22 years as CFO of the multi-specialty physician group of 280 physicians with 430 employee support staff. He then formed his own consulting company providing medical group management services to practices of all sizes and specialties.

Through his education and experience in the business world, Ed has learned what it means to provide excellent customer service; he knows how to negotiate; has worked with government agencies; and marketed physician services. These are all necessary skills to possess in the buying and selling of residential real estate.

An interesting aspect of Ed's life has involved singing professionally. He spent many years performing at Starlight Theatre and the Kansas City Lyric Opera. He also sang to his wife Sharon at his own wedding. Ed and Sharon have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. He is an active Rotarian and is a Paul Harris Fellow.

Ed's philosophy in life has always been to simply help others. In real estate, this is what excites Ed the most. Whether he is helping a buyer or a seller, it is so satisfying to see how appreciative the client is.

He believes strongly in the phrase, "Always do the right thing, every time."
